Honeywld focuses on digital home application-Digital Media Player (DMA), PVR, IPTV, IP Set-Top-BOX and Digital Signage Control Box solution provider & manufacture. Founded in 2004, Mr. Ron Chang, the funder and CEO, apply to IIC with few seasoned team members with great experience in software and hardware integration. They delivered innovative consumer product after two years development, then the modified product, PowerZest serial, got prestigious recognition around the world. These awards bring the spotlight on its own brand name that the value of quality and professionalism. With the core technology of embedded system in digital streaming, Honeywld is the OEM partner of ViewSonic, TEAC and Zyxel. For few years’ efforts, Honeywld not only designs into big giant’s product line, but also creates its own products.

(1) SBIR Program – IIC invite our expert partner to consult about the regulation and guide them writing. Eventually, they got the subsidy of US$70K for R&D.

J-Mex Inc.
J-MEX, a MEMS applications company, established in January, 2006; meanwhile, J-MEX became our incubatees in Si-Soft Research Center. They are specializing in the inertial measurement module design and service by developing the key component manufacture- accelerometer. With four years development, J-MEX had made core technology in MEMS technology and its related applications and recognized as a leader on MEMS related applications in Taiwan market. The funder and CEO of J-MEX is Dr. Tsang-Der Ni, NCTU Alumnus. He leads J-MEX to enter the niche market preventing from an over investment in manufacture. Dr. Ni realizes the importance of IP and encourages staff to apply patent. For now, J-MEX has approved 25 patents within 3 years. “NCTU IIC provide best environment of IC design startups for accessing EDA tool service, IP management service and the location closing to industry.
